Research Study on State of Inclusive Education in AJK
WWOP has successfully produced, AJK’s first research study on the ‘Inclusiveness of Educational Services’ under this project.
To conduct this study, research tools were designed including questionnaires for community, schoolteachers and district authorities.
Data collectors were identified and given training. A pilot study was conducted before going for actual study in AJK. In-depth interviews were also conducted from persons with disabilities and their parents to know about the difficulties they face in the existing system.
In all, more than 550 schools were visited during the study.
The comprehensive research study report was also published and widely disseminated.
