The Najma Shakur Charity Fund (NSCF) was established in September 2020 as a dedicated initiative of Women Welfare Organization to honor the vision and lifelong commitment of its Founder, Syeda Najma Shakur (Late). Her work centered on uplifting marginalized women, supporting vulnerable families, and building pathways out of poverty through dignity and opportunity.
NSCF was created to institutionalize this legacy by providing structured and sustainable support to communities facing poverty, exclusion, disability, and crisis. Operating across Azad Jammu and Kashmir and selected regions of Pakistan, the Fund focuses on practical interventions that strengthen household stability, promote women’s economic independence, and respond to urgent humanitarian needs.
Rooted in WWO’s women-led community networks, NSCF ensures that assistance reaches those most in need while promoting long-term resilience rather than short-term relief. The Fund reflects a continued commitment to dignity, inclusion, and community-driven empowerment.
Najma Shakur Girls Scholarship – Zakat Eligible
Education is a powerful form of Sadaqah Jariyah. Through this scholarship, your Zakat and Sadaqah support deserving girls from low-income families to pursue higher and professional education in fields such as Law, Sociology, Digital Skills, and Health Professions.
By supporting a student, you help remove financial barriers and open a pathway toward dignity, independence, and leadership.

Through this initiative, vulnerable families including widows and families of persons with disabilities receive structured monthly food support while transitioning toward sustainable livelihoods.
Your Zakat and Sadaqah provide immediate relief while building long-term stability.

Decent Livelihood for Vulnerable families – Sadaqah Jariyah

50,000–80,000 PKR supports a poultry or small livestock package
120,000–200,000 PKR supports a larger livelihood setup

Houses for Widows and Vulnerable Families – Sadaqah Jariyah
Safe shelter restores dignity and security. Many widows and disaster-affected families live in unsafe or temporary structures.
Your Sadaqah helps construct or rehabilitate modest, secure homes.

Safe Pathways in Hard Terrain – Community Sadaqah
In mountainous and disaster-prone areas, unsafe routes prevent children from reaching school and families from accessing healthcare.
